Cattle Trocar Oval with Cannula 10×150 mm

Overview

The Cattle Trocar Oval with Cannula 10×150 mm is an emergency veterinary instrument for fast relief of ruminal bloat and trapped gas in cattle. Bloat can kill a cow within hours, so a cattle trocar and cannula is a must-have on every farm and in every vet's vehicle. The sharp oval trocar punctures the left flank into the rumen, then it is withdrawn so the cannula stays in place and gas and froth can escape. The 10 mm by 150 mm size suits adult cattle, and the oval profile helps drainage. Made from high-quality stainless steel, it resists corrosion and can be cleaned and sterilised for repeated use. Dentuf Instruments supplies cattle trocars in bulk.
